A Bit About Me
Originally from New Brunswick, I have called Vancouver Island home for almost 20 years. I enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the place and am at awe by the mountains and old growth trees.
When I'm not designing, I enjoy playing Minecraft with my kids (which I'm terrible at!), growing vegetables, exercising on Supernatural, and taking coffee breaks with friends.
I have worked as a designer for many years building websites from scratch and also reimagining what websites could be and implementing those changes.
I bring to the table a mastered ability to design products that compliment the brand in an effective way, curiosity and empathy towards the product's users, and strong collaboration skills when incorporating the ideas of developers, clients, and team members.

Provided UX / UI design consulting services to clients. Gathered requirements from stakeholders. Improved the usability of the products by redefining the information architecture. Elevated user expectations with a brand centric design process. Met business objectives and vision within time, budget, and technical constraints. Increased Site Sessions by 193% and Unique Visitors by 181%. Led and collaborated with multi-disciplinary team to ensure the school’s goals of consistent messaging, branding, community awareness, and student enrollment / retention are met and maintained. Redesigned the website experience using a user centric approach. Designed and managed print and online ad campaigns. Improved website responsiveness across all platforms. Graphic Designer - Contract
Delivered complimentary print designs and staff manuals to Canadian Tire Garden Centres to improve in-store customer experience.
Led all branding, marketing, and UI / UX designs on geoscience project. Worked closely with developers to establish technical concerns and ensure high quality designs.

Partnered with the BC Cancer Foundation to sell shirts promoting a positive body image. Designed, promoted, and sold up-cycled clothing via local markets and the website.
